Martina Bertoni and Stefan Schneider-Monti share a fascination for working with a deliberately restricted vocabulary of electronic instruments. Both tracks on Holding on and letting go unfold with quiet precision while maintaining an exploratory edge as both artists find ways to constantly challenge the flow. One of the effects of these slowly metamorphosing tracks is the degree to which the tiniest movement in the music generates enormous sensations of uncertainity and changeability.
